    • FanTalks is a communication App that connects creators and fans together. creators have an option to create SuperTalk rooms and charge a monthly fee from its users, and fans can have a closer connection with their favorite creators.
  • Is FanTalks free to use?
    • Yes, FanTalks is a free communication app with the option to join subscription-based chat rooms, called SuperTalks, and those rooms are created and maintained by creators. In this case, there could be a monthly fee to participate in those specific rooms.
  • What are SuperTalk rooms?
    • SuperTalk rooms are chat rooms created by the creators themselves, and therefore users can be assured that the creator that owns the social networks informed is the same that created that particular chat room. Creators can create SuperTalk rooms free of charge for the users, or charging a monthly fee.

  • Can fans from any country can join FanTalks?
    • Yes, fans and creators from any country can join FanTalks but currently only users from specific countries will be able to create and join on SuperTalk rooms with a monthly fee enabled.
  • How can I join a SuperTalk room?
    • In order to join a SuperTalk room, you will need to search for that room on the search bar or get the direct link to the room. From there, you will find all information about the room including the monthly fee. By clicking on the Join button, you will be redirected to Stripe platform to inform your payment details and activate your subscription on that room.
  • It is safe to join on SuperTalk rooms at FanTalks?
    • Yes, all your personal data related to your payment settings will be handled by one of the biggest payment platforms in the world, Stripe.com. FanTalks will only get and store the data related to your subscription status and details in order to keep the SuperTalk rooms automated.
  • Can I cancel my subscription to a SuperTalk room and stop with the monthly charges?
    • Yes, by entering on the desired room and clicking on the room picture, you can see more information about that room including your subscription details, from there you can click on the button to update your subscription plan to get redirected to the Stripe platform, where you will have the choice to cancel it. Be aware that your user will still be active on that room until the end of the current billing date.
  • What happens if I don't pay the monthly fee for a SuperTalk room?
    • If we don't receive the confirmation of the renewal of your subscription for that room, you will lose access to it automatically on your end period date until it is renewed.
  • How can I know the creator that created a SuperTalk room that I would like to join?
    • FanTalks verify the creator's account before they are able to create SuperTalk rooms, and you can confirm which social networks belong to that creator by looking on the room details before joining the room or in their public profile.
  • Can I cancel my subscription to FanTalks rooms at any time?
    • Yes! You can subscribe to as many rooms as you like and will be able to cancel them at any time. When you cancel, you will still be able to access the content until the end of the current renovation date.

  • Can creators from any country can join FanTalks?
    • Yes, creators from any country can join FanTalks, but only creators from certain countries can create SuperTalk rooms charging a monthly fee. Once you start your payment profile integration with Stripe, the countries available will be shown.
  • What is needed to create a SuperTalk room charging a monthly fee at FanTalks?
    • After signing in to FanTalks, you will need to verify your profile and finish the setup of their payment profile with Stripe in order to create SuperTalk rooms with monthly fee enabled.
  • Is there any limit on the number of users allowed to join the chat rooms at FanTalks?
    • No, there is no limit on the number of users a SuperTalk room can have.
  • How can I get my creator profile verified at FanTalks?
    • You will need to go to Profile Settings by clicking on your profile picture on the top of the left sidebar, fill your public name, profile description, add at least one social network, and submit it for verification.
  • What is a public profile?
    • Public profiles are your public URL that will be available to everyone after your profile gets verified. There the users will be able to see your linked social networks accounts, SuperTalk rooms, and the details you've set when configuring it.
  • How long time it takes to get my profile verified at FanTalks?
    • Your profile verification might take up to 3 business days to get analyzed.
  • Some of my social network profiles were rejected at FanTalks, what could be the reasons?
    • When a social network profile gets rejected, it means that we couldn't find your public profile URL shared in it. In these cases, you need to certify that you've shared your public profile URL on a publicly accessible page such as a post, your main profile external links, video description, and so on. You can always reply to your profile verification email response to provide more details to facilitate our verification process.
  • Can I send my profile for verification again after it gets rejected once at FanTalks?
    • Yes, you can submit your profile for verification as many times as necessary.
  • What is the minimum fee to create a SuperTalk room?
    • The minimum value is U$5, or the equivalent amount in other currencies.
  • How much do FanTalks charges from SuperTalks rooms with a monthly fee enabled?
    • For the first three months of a new account, FanTalks is offering for a limited time a 0% fee from all transactions. After that period, FanTalks will collect a 20% platform fee from all active subscriptions to SuperTalk rooms. If your room is not set in US dollars, you will also have a conversion rate fee between 1% and 2% of the value of every transaction charged by Stripe.
  • Is there any fee to withdraw the creator's earnings to their bank accounts?
    • No, neither FanTalks nor Stripe charges any fee to withdraw your earnings to your local bank account.
  • Is there any currency conversion fee?
    • Yes, there will be a conversion fee for around 1% or 2% for every transaction that is not in USD.
  • How much can I earn at FanTalks as an creator?
    • The only fee you will pay until the revenue gets into your bank account is the platform fee, which is 20% plus between 1 and 2% on transactions in other currency than USD. Given that, you can multiply the number of users in your rooms by your monthly fee, and reduce 20%. Let's say you currently have 50000 subscribers on your social networks, and 1% (500) of them decide to join your SuperTalk rooms which charge $5 per month. In this scenario you would receive 500 * 5 - 20% = $2000 per month.
  • How can I withdraw my earnings at FanTalks?
    • Your revenue will go directly to the Stripe platform and from there you will see your options to cash out your earnings.
  • Will I need to manually check which users have paid or not the subscription fee in order to keep them active on my SuperTalk room?
    • No, all this process is done automatically by FanTalks and the users that haven't successfully completed their payments for a specific month will be automatically removed from the room.
  • What chat controls do I have on the SuperTalk rooms?
    • When creating SuperTalk rooms you will have the options to 1. Allow users to send messages; 2. Allow users to send messages only after a number of months of being active members of that room; 3. Disallow all users (except admins) to send messages on the room.
  • What kind of content is not allowed on FanTalks?
    • FanTalks disallow the following subjects on the platform: Illegal products and services; Products and services that infringe intellectual property rights; Products and services that are unfair, predatory, or deceptive; Adult content and services; Firearms, explosives, dangerous materials, and Gambling. We might lock any chat room infringing these contents and cancel all subscriptions at any time.
  • From which social networks or platforms can I link to FanTalks to get my account verified?
    • You can verify your profile at FanTalks by linking at least one of those social networks/platforms: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, Spotify, iTunes, Google Podcast, Snapchat, Twitch, LinkedIn and personal website.
  • Can I cancel my SuperTalk rooms at any time?
    • Yes! You will be able to cancel your SuperTalk rooms at any time. When you do, the room will still be active for up to 1 month, until the last user finishes its renovation period. The users won't get any additional charge and new users won't be able to join the room anymore.
